Peja Kids Open 2011
65 kids participated in Peja Kids Open 2011 Red and Orange Competition
Kosovo Tennis Federation organized in Peja for the first time Red and Orange tennis tournaments. 65 boys and girls from all Kosovo tennis clubs participated. It was 6 different categories. Serbian kids from Gracanica Municipality also participated in this tournament with success.
Kosovo Tennis Federation is a part of ITF Development Program. A part of this program is also Red, Orange and Green Tennis from Tennis Play&Stay Program that is designed to make tennis much easier and fun for beginners and especially for U-10 kids.
The tournament was organized in six different age categories: Boys and Girls U-8 and U-10 played in Red Court , while Boys and Girls U-12 played in Orange Court . Round Robin System of Competition was used for all categories and every kid played at least 3 tennis matches (tie-break to 7 points). Four Red Courts and two Orange courts were used.
It was a fantastic tennis day in Peja. Kids, parents, and guest really enjoyed the tennis day. The next tournament will be held in Gracanica this month.
